Estates Surveyor
Location: Hampshire (hybrid, average 1 day per week on-site)
Rate: 450/day
Contract: Initial 6-months (extension likely)

A local authority in the South is looking for an Estates Surveyor to support an extensive HRA commercial portfolio, comprising a range of secondary and tertiary retail properties.

This is a hands-on estates management and landlord and tenant role, with a strong focus on rental valuation work to support rent reviews, lease renewals and new lettings, taking transactions through negotiation to completion.

Responsibilities

• Completing rental valuations for rent reviews, lease renewals, and new lettings
• Leading negotiations with occupiers/agents and progressing matters to completion
• Supporting the management of a commercial retail portfolio, including voids and lettings
• Coordinating repairs and maintenance in collaboration with in-house R&M teams

About you

• Strong, recent track record delivering a high volume of rental valuations
  
• Proven landlord and tenant experience across rent reviews and renewals
  
• Confident negotiator with end-to-end transaction experience
  
• Comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a public sector environment (local authority experience beneficial)
