General Labourer Required

Our client is seeking experienced General Labourer for a temporary contract on a project in Portsmouth. This vacancy is being advertised by a recruitment agency acting on behalf of the employer.

Location: Portsmouth

Job Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: 16.60 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting skilled tradespeople (e.g. concrete repair teams, painters, steel fixers)
• General site labouring duties including lifting, carrying, and moving materials
• Keeping the site clean, tidy, and hazard-free
• Assisting with surface preparation, including breaking out, cleaning, and prepping areas
• Following all health & safety regulations at all times
• Operating basic tools and equipment as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in construction or labouring preferred
• Valid CSCS card (essential)
• Good level of physical fitness
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Awareness of site safety practices
