Site Manager

Randstad CPE Reading team is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction and fit-out of a new site within a major residential development in Didcot.

• Job Title: Site Manager
• Location: Didcot (OX11)
• Pay: Competitive Day Rate (TBD)
• Duration: 2-4 Weeks Initial (Potential for extension)

This is a key phase of the project, and we require a manager who can step in immediately to maintain momentum and ensure high safety standards on-site.

About the Role:

• Managing the final stages/fit-out of a community-use building.
• Directing internal trades (M&E, joinery, flooring) to ensure the programme stays on track.
• Full responsibility for site safety, inductions, and maintaining the site diary for the duration of the cover.
• Providing daily updates to the Project/Contracts Manager to ensure a seamless handover.

Requirements:

• Previous experience managing non-residential or community buildings within a housing scheme is highly desirable.
• Valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and Black CSCS Card.
• Must be able to start at short notice and commit to the full 2-4 week
• A professional approach and eye for detail are essential.
