Job Title: Junior Buyer
Location: Gidea Park, Essex
Salary: From £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
A well-established and growing company within the commercial fit-out sector is currently seeking a Junior Buyer to join their team based in Gidea Park, Essex.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career in procurement, working on a variety of commercial interior projects across office, retail, and hospitality environments.
The Role
The successful candidate will support the procurement function across multiple projects, ensuring materials and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with sourcing and purchasing materials, fixtures, and fittings
• Obtaining and comparing supplier quotations to ensure best value
• Building and maintaining strong supplier and subcontractor relationships
• Supporting senior buyers and project teams with procurement schedules
• Monitoring orders and ensuring timely delivery to site
• Maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Assisting with stock control and reordering where required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a buying, procurement, or administrative role within the shopfitting or commercial fit-out sector (essential)
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and negotiation abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach
