Working Groundworks Foreman with SSSTS needed in Coventry

Location: Coventry

Rate: £24-£26 per hour

Duration: 1-2 weeks work.

This is a new site and early works that need to be completed. Main contract due to start next month so the successful candidate may return at a later date.

Hours: 7.30 to 5.30pm

Hours Paid per day: Minimum 9.5hrs paid per day

Job Description:

Stridden Limited are recruiting for an established Civils & Groundworks Contractor who are currently looking for an experienced Working Groundworks Foreman with SSSTS to manage their site in Coventry.

Key Duties:

• Supervise and lead operatives on site.
• Enabling works - Foundations and concrete slab work
• Ensure works are completed safely, on time and to a high standard.
• Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks and enforce health and safety protocols.
• Monitor progress and report to management team.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Working Groundworks Foreman preferred
• Minimum of Black CSCS Card
• SSSTS or SMSTS Qualification
• Must be physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Ability to commute to site reliably
