The role You will support our commercial team on live data centre projects, working on the cost management and contractual administration of M&E packages. This is a hands-on graduate role with structured development and exposure to high-value, technically complex projects from day one. Key responsibilities Cost management You will assist with the preparation and monitoring of cost plans, budgets and cash flow forecasts for M&E works. You will carry out measurement and take-offs of M&E services, help build up cost estimates, and review and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations, preparing tender comparisons and reports. You will also assist with the valuation of interim payments, including materials on and off site and long-lead equipment such as generators, UPS systems, switchgear, chillers and CRAH/CRAC units, and track cost movements to prepare regular cost reports for clients and project teams. NEC contract administration You will support the administration of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts, including the Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) and its main options (A to F). Person specification Essential We are looking for someone with a degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline, ideally RICS accredited. You should be confident using Microsoft Excel and Word, able to manage your own workload and meet deadlines, and eligible to work in the UK.
