About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Site Engineer to join our growing team, specialising in steel frame construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving on-site, and wants to work on technically challenging, large-scale builds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day site engineering activities on steel frame projects

  • Set out, level, and survey the site in accordance with project requirements

  • Ensure all works are completed in line with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards

  • Supervise subcontractors and support the Site Manager with coordination of site operations

  • Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

  • Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily records and reports

  • Assist with resolving technical issues in collaboration with the design and project teams

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders as required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience working as a Site Engineer, ideally on steel frame or structural steel projects

  • Strong understanding of construction processes and engineering principles

  • Proficiency with setting-out equipment (e.g. total stations, GPS)

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Strong awareness of health and safety regulations

  • Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/BEng or equivalent)
