Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for a hands-on contract role on a live, fast-paced project? I am seeking a capable and confident Site Manager to support a high-profile civils and external works scheme at a food factory site in Liverpool for one of our key clients. Job Details Valued at approximately £1.5m, the works will take place on a live, space-restricted food factory site, requiring excellent planning, coordination and communication. Phase 1 includes zoned removal of existing hard and soft landscaped areas, including truck routes and parking areas. The project will involve new underground drainage and interceptor works linking into the existing system. The scheme includes construction of new yard areas, truck access routes and staff car parking. A security building, site access control and associated underground services will be installed. The works will conclude with a soft landscaping scheme once the civils package is complete. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager who enjoys taking ownership on site, working closely with contractors and clients, and ensuring that quality, programme, safety and communication standards are maintained throughout the project. Key responsibilities Represent the client on site on a daily basis. Oversee the appointed contractors and monitor quality, programme and safety performance. Coordinate daily site meetings and maintain clear communication between the client, contractor and wider project team. The key purpose of the role is to support the business with deliveries, picking and packing items, stock movement, and management of goods in and out of the business. The second part of the role is to attend customer sites and fit all products (with training) as required. This may involve staying away from home occasionally and you need to be physically able to lift heavy items. Although this role is based on a 16 hour week - more hours may be available for the right candidate - as well as an enhanced pay rate if you are out fitting products.
