Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for an experienced Loading Shovel Driver to begin work for a well-established energy and waste processing site. About the Role: You will be working a 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off shift pattern , ensuring the safe movement and manoeuvring of vehicles on site, while managing biomass fuel levels within the fuel hall and maintaining high housekeeping standards across the site. Shift Pattern: 2 Days / 2 Nights / 4 Off Days - 06:00-18:00 Nights 18:00-06:00 Location: Site-based Start: ASAP Pay Rate: 13.97 PAYE - 16.00 CIS Key Responsibilities: Safely operate mobile plant, including loading shovel Manage and maintain biomass fuel levels within the fuel hall Ensure safe vehicle movements across the fuel yard and weighbridge Complete pre-shift checks and documentation (reporting any defects to the Shift Team Leader) Carry out daily maintenance including greasing and cleaning of plant Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the plant, fuel yard and weighbridge Empty tip skips and dust bags Take and record fuel samples Refuel site vehicles as required Report any defects, damages, near misses or H&S breaches immediately Conduct thorough shift handovers to the next Loading Shovel Driver Work in line with company Health & Safety and environmental policies at all times About You: Essential Requirements: Proven experience operating a Loading Shovel CPCS, NPORS or equivalent certification (preferred) Full UK driving licence and own transport Strong understanding of site safety procedures Ability to complete documentation accurately Desirable: Counterbalance Forklift experience Telehandler experience Experience loading and unloading HGV vehicles Personal Attributes: Strong team player Flexible and reliable Safety-focused mindset Proactive and organised Please apply with your CV and call Matt on (phone number removed) Job Type: Full-time

Wheeled Loading Shovel Driver £15.47p/hr, Temp to Perm, Day shifts, ASAP starts WILLERBY, HULL I am recruiting an experienced Wheeled Loading Shovel Driver for my Hull based client, a National Waste Management Company. The role will consist of loading wagons and screeners, movement of material around site and keeping the site clean and tidy all whilst working in accordance with the Company s health and safety, environmental and other standards as they apply to the process. You will also be required to work away from the Shovel when needed assisting in Manual Duties and sorting around the site. The successful candidate must: -Hold a current/valid Shovel Loader License/Ticket (not in-house) -Tractor experience would be beneficial -Telehandler ticket/license would be advantageous -Ability to work in a fast paced environment -Must have all your own PPE -Knowledge of Manual Handling Techniques, as the role will include lifting, shifting and manual handling The working week will be from 7am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays required from time to time, 7am to 2pm. The pay rate for the role is £15.47p/hr and the role is advertised as Temp to Perm for the right candidates.
