They are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on at the beginning of a new build/refurbishment commercial scheme with a contract value of circa £700 million. Reporting to the Construction Director your role will be to provide a full range of cost control and financial reporting duties on all aspects of construction work undertaken. The role: As an experienced Buyer you will work in a commercial team responsible for £8 million spend worth of materials. Role Summary: A brand new Buyer opportunity has arisen within a FTSE 100 construction company, based in their East London offices. This role will be supporting the Senior Buyer with all material and plant purchases for multiple sites across the UK, negotiating best terms and prices possible.
