Role: Our client is seeking an experienced MEP Building Services Design Manager to oversee and administer the completion of the building services design for a MOJ project in Suffolk. You will act as the client's/design management representative, ensuring that external design consultants deliver coordinated, compliant and fully integrated Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing design packages in accordance with the project programme, employer's requirements and statutory obligations. You will need to administer completion of project design by external consultants, use drawing platforms and be computer literate, chair design meetings, look at the transmission of design against a schedule and have either a main contractor or sub contractor background. The duration of this role will be for 6-9 months. The ideal candidate: The ideal candidate will have experience as a MEP Building Services Design professional with a proven ability to manage the delivery of complex building services designs through external consultant teams. You will be technically strong, commercially aware and confident leading design co-ordination across multiple disciplines. You will also need to be computer literate.
