The successful candidate will lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure homes are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing high-volume new build housing developments, with a strong understanding of construction programmes, NHBC standards, health & safety and customer care. Key Duties: Manage all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Lead, supervise and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and labour-only groundworks contractors. Monitor construction programmes and ensure key milestones are achieved. Order materials and manage site resources to maintain build progress. Liaise with Contracts Managers, technical teams, sales teams and other internal departments. Coordinate inspections with NHBC and Local Authority Building Control. Ensure all homes are completed to the highest quality standards and comply with current Building Regulations. Carry out customer handovers and work closely with the Customer Care team to resolve any defects. Promote a positive culture focused on health & safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement. Maintain accurate site records, digital plot books and construction documentation. Required Skills: Previous experience as a Site Manager delivering high-volume residential developments. Strong knowledge of traditional housebuilding methods and construction processes. Experience managing subcontractors, labour-only groundworkers and multiple trades. Excellent understanding of NHBC standards, Building Regulations and quality assurance procedures. Strong programme management and organisational skills. Commercial awareness with the ability to monitor build progress against budgets and programmes. Experience using digital construction management systems such as Zutec or similar. Excellent communication, leadership and people management skills. Full UK Driving Licence.
