We are looking for an experienced Mechanically Biased Project Manager to join a major data centre programme covering three sites across West Drayton, Slough and Hayes.

This is a long-term contract opportunity, supporting the Senior Project Manager and taking responsibility for driving mechanical packages, site delivery and programme performance through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Project Manager with overall mechanical project delivery.

• Manage and drive mechanical packages through to completion.

• Manage mechanical programmes, sequencing and progress.

• Coordinate mechanical subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.

• Monitor labour, productivity and programme performance.

• Manage technical queries, RFIs and installation issues.

• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality.

• Attend and lead mechanical progress and coordination meetings.

• Support testing, commissioning, snagging and handover.

• Produce progress updates and short-term look-ahead programmes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanically Biased Project Manager.

• Must have previous data centre project experience.

• Strong mechanical background delivering major mechanical packages.

• Experience managing subcontractors and mechanical site teams.

• Strong programme and project delivery experience.

• Good understanding of mechanical installation, testing and commissioning.

• SMSTS.

• CSCS Management Card.

• Relevant mechanical qualification.
