DT Source are currently seeking experienced Fire Stoppers at Manchester airport. Responsibilities: Installing fire-stopping systems such as: Batt and mastic Fire-resistant sealants Pipe collars and wraps Cavity barriers Reading construction drawings and fire protection plans. Sealing gaps around pipes, cables, ducts, and other penetration Ensuring work complies with UK fire safety regulations and manufacturer specifications. Requirements: Proven experience in passive fire protection and fire stopping. NVQ in Passive Fire Protection (preferred but not essential). FIRAS, BM TRADA, or equivalent accreditation experience advantageous. Own tools, PPE, and transport. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
