Site Supervisor - Fit-Out (Fire Door Replacement) - Carpentry Background Required
Location: Central London
Salary: 250- 280 a day DOE
Hours: 7am-4pm
Start Date: ASAP
The Opportunity
A well-established building services and fit-out contractor is looking for a Site Supervisor to join their Fit-Out team. You'll be supervising a long-running fire door replacement programme for a major client, with work secured through to the end of next year. This is a consistent, process-driven role where you'll be trusted to run your site independently, keeping standards high and works on track across a large volume of repeat installations. The role can be either working or non-working, so it would suit a supervisor who's happy to get on the tools when needed or one who prefers to focus purely on supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day site activities on a fire door replacement programme.
- Oversee subcontractor carpentry teams, ensuring quality and consistency across installations.
- Use construction software and digital systems to record progress, inspections and site information.
- Manage site health & safety and maintain high site standards.
- Act as a professional, presentable point of contact on site.
The Ideal Candidate
You'll ideally have:
- Carpentry background
- Confidence using IT and construction software.
- SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential).
- The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
- A professional and presentable manner.
- Happy to complete a DBS check
