Site Supervisor - Fit-Out (Fire Door Replacement) - Carpentry Background Required Location: Central London Salary: 250- 280 a day DOE Hours: 7am-4pm Start Date: ASAP The Opportunity A well-established building services and fit-out contractor is looking for a Site Supervisor to join their Fit-Out team. You'll be supervising a long-running fire door replacement programme for a major client, with work secured through to the end of next year. This is a consistent, process-driven role where you'll be trusted to run your site independently, keeping standards high and works on track across a large volume of repeat installations. The role can be either working or non-working, so it would suit a supervisor who's happy to get on the tools when needed or one who prefers to focus purely on supervision. Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day site activities on a fire door replacement programme. Oversee subcontractor carpentry teams, ensuring quality and consistency across installations. Use construction software and digital systems to record progress, inspections and site information. Manage site health & safety and maintain high site standards. You will be spending your time supervising the site but be prepared on the rare occasion to be on the tools if required. You'll typically be managing a team of around 5, plus electrical and HVAC trades, working in high-end London department stores. These are live retail environments where the end client has very specific requirements, so confidence in dealing with demanding clients is key.
