Project Manager - FF&E / Interior Fit-Out

Location: Mansfield

Salary: £38,000 - £50,000 + Company Car + Pension + Benefits

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Project Managers to join a growing construction and interior fit-out business delivering FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) packages across the UK.

The successful candidates will be responsible for managing the delivery of FF&E and internal fit-out packages within sectors including healthcare, education, student accommodation, residential, and commercial environments. Working closely with internal scheduling and purchasing teams, you will oversee projects from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

These are primarily office-based roles, with regular travel to project sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of FF&E and interior fit-out packages on new build and refurbishment projects.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, varying in value, complexity, and programme duration.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, monitoring progress against key milestones.
• Produce and manage project reports detailing progress, budgets, risks, client requirements, and programme performance.
• Lead project teams and coordinate internal departments to achieve successful project delivery.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance on product selection and assist in obtaining client approvals.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed commercial and time constraints.
• Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation plans where required.
• Monitor project costs and maintain budgetary control.
• Attend project meetings and conduct regular site visits across the UK.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

• Minimum 4 years' experience operating as a Project Manager within construction or fit-out environments.
• Experience delivering FF&E, fitted furniture, kitchens, interior fit-out or specialist subcontract packages.
• Proven experience within one or more of the following sectors:
  • Healthcare
  • Education
  • Student Accommodation
  • Residential
  • Commercial Fit-Out
• Gold or Black CSCS Card.
• SMSTS qualification.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Commercial awareness and budget management experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

• Experience working with principal contractors on large-scale construction projects.
• Knowledge of furniture manufacture, installation, or bespoke interior packages.
• Experience managing projects nationwide.

Working Arrangements

• Predominantly office-based role.
• Based from either the Mansfield office
• Regular travel to client and project sites across the UK.
• Close collaboration with scheduling, procurement, and operational delivery teams.
