This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Estimator to build their career with a specialist contractor that has been conserving historic buildings since 1990. The business works on churches, listed buildings and scheduled monuments across London and the South East, combining traditional skills with modern construction methods.
Working alongside the estimators in the office, you will support tenders from start to finish, from analysing documents and sending out enquiries through to site measurement and preparing Schedules of Works. Projects range from small specialist repairs to schemes of 10 to 15 million, with most between 1 million and 3 million.
The business is open minded on background. An interest in heritage is a big plus, but candidates from main contractor or general construction backgrounds are welcome to apply, including graduates with some industry experience behind them.
