Location: Slough (supporting projects across London and the Midlands)

Poolhall Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Construction Procurement Manager to join a specialist contractor delivering complex structural steel and construction projects across the UK and Europe.

This is a key role responsible for managing procurement, supply chain coordination, subcontractor engagement, and logistics to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead supplier and subcontractor procurement from tender through to contract award.
• Manage supply chain activities across multiple live projects.
• Coordinate transport, deliveries, logistics, and customs requirements.
• Review technical specifications, materials, and quality standards.
• Liaise with project, commercial, and site teams to support successful project delivery.
• Check measurements, valuations, and invoices against project requirements.
• Obtain and manage quotations for variations and additional works.

About You

• Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in construction procurement, pre-construction, supply chain, or commercial management.
• Strong understanding of structural steel, manufacturing, modular, or construction environments.
• Excellent negotiation, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
• German language skills are advantageous but not essential.
