Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quality Manager / Clerk of Works to lead quality assurance and inspection activities across multiple live projects nationwide. The Role Reporting to the Construction Director, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining project quality systems, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, Building Regulations, ISO standards and client expectations. Combining Quality Management, Building Inspection and Clerk of Works responsibilities, you will work closely with construction, design and supply chain teams to promote a right-first-time culture and drive defect-free project delivery. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement and maintain Project Quality Plans and inspection regimes. Manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), WIRs, MIRs and quality records. Conduct site inspections, audits and quality reviews across all construction phases. Inspect key stages including groundworks, reinforced concrete structures, steel frame construction, fit-out and final finishes. Monitor subcontractor performance and supply chain compliance with project quality requirements. Identify, manage and close out non-conformances and corrective actions. Produce inspection reports, photographic records and quality documentation. Support client inspections, Building Control visits and third-party audits. Deliver quality-related guidance and support to project teams. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management systems and company procedures. Requirements Experience as a Quality Manager, Clerk of Works, Building Inspector or Construction Quality Assurance professional. Proven background within a UK construction environment Strong experience of steel frame and reinforced concrete construction projects from groundworks through to completion. Practical knowledge of quality assurance systems, inspection regimes, ITPs, WIRs and MIRs. Good understanding of Building Regulations, audit processes and regulatory compliance. Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel nationally. Qualifications Degree, HNC or HND in Construction, Civil Engineering, Building Studies, Quality Management or a related discipline. CSCS Black Card or equivalent. Desirable Clerk of Works experience Lead Auditor (ISO 9001). SMSTS. Experience on large-scale commercial, industrial, retail or mixed-use developments. Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (QS) A growing construction business is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of projects across a varied portfolio. The business has a head office near Windsor, the role is predominatley to be working from home and site with some days then to be worked in the office. Who you d be joining This is a well-established and growing construction business delivering full-package project solutions. With continued expansion across central and northern regions, they are building out their commercial team to support an increasing pipeline of work. The business typically takes responsibility for running sites and overseeing delivery across the full project lifecycle, while also working alongside principal contractors on certain schemes. What you ll be doing You ll manage the commercial function across multiple live projects, supporting schemes from early civils through to full build completion. Projects typically include mixed-use developments such as retail units, associated infrastructure, and industrial fit-outs. • Managing project costs from pre-construction through to final account • Liaising with subcontractors on contractual agreements across specialist areas (e.g. fencing, cladding, M&E, groundworks) • Preparing and administering NEC3/NEC4 contracts • Managing valuations, variations, and cost reporting • Working closely with project managers and site teams to maintain financial control • Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and commercial targets are achieved • Supporting risk management and value engineering initiatives You ll be trusted to take ownership of your projects, working with a high degree of autonomy while supported by a wider commercial and delivery team.
