Site/Project Manager - Facades

A well-established construction and property services contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a fa ade remediation project in York, valued at approximately 1 million.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager with experience delivering external envelope, cladding, fa ade remediation, fire safety, or refurbishment projects. You will take responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

The Role

• Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Managing all daily site activities from mobilisation through to completion
• Coordinating subcontractors, labour and material deliveries
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, specifications and quality standards
• Maintaining site health & safety and ensuring full compliance with company procedures
• Conducting site inspections, toolbox talks and progress meetings
• Managing client, consultant and stakeholder relationships on site
• Monitoring programme performance and addressing any delivery issues proactively
• Maintaining site records, reports and project documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction or refurbishment
• Experience delivering fa ade, cladding, external envelope or remediation projects
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and site management procedures
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
• Excellent communication and subcontractor management skills
• Ability to drive programme and maintain high quality standards
