Senior Quantity Surveyor
Salary: 60,000- 75,000 + benefits Permanent Hybrid - 3 days on site
I'm currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a Projects division in Bristol, supporting a newly secured 16m retrofit and refurbishment contract.
The project covers four high-rise residential buildings, including cladding renewals, scaffolding, mass climbers and associated refurbishment works.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QS to take commercial ownership of a major social housing project, working within a small, experienced and supportive commercial team. Established Quantity Surveyors ready to step up are also encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead commercial management, cost control, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Maximise contractual entitlement, cash flow and profitability.
- Manage subcontractor orders, valuations and client queries.
- Identify commercial risks, manage disputes and advise on contractual matters.
What we're looking for:
- Experience in social housing refurbishment or construction.
- Strong commercial, contractual and financial management skills.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- NEC4 knowledge and retrofit experience are advantageous.
- Relevant industry qualification and a full UK driving licence.
Salary and benefits:
- 60,000- 75,000 salary, depending on experience.
