60,000 - 70,000 + Vehicle + Bonus + Training / Tickets + Progression
Basildon, Essex (Commutable from: Southend-on-Sea, Chelmsford, Brentwood, Billericay, Wickford, Rayleigh, Grays, Stanford-le-Hope)
Are you a Project Manager or Site Manager looking to step into a role where you will take real ownership of live highways works, be backed with consistent training and have genuine scope to progress as the business grows?
On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established but steadily expanding civil engineering contractor, working on a varied portfolio of highways maintenance projects across Essex. You will be trusted to run sites end-to-end, with clear long-term prospects into Contracts Management / Operations.
This company specialise in highways maintenance work, delivering a high volume of small-to-medium projects for major public-sector and National Highways frameworks. Known for being a close-knit team where you are more than a number, they are now looking to add a Project Manager due to continued growth and increased workload.
In this role you will be split between office and site, managing programmes, coordinating labour and subcontractors, ordering materials, and liaising with stakeholders and public authorities to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
This role would suit a Project or Site Manager from a civil engineering / highways background (or similar looking for long-term development and progression in a growing business.
The Role:
- Project Manager delivering highways maintenance projects across Essex
- Split between Basildon office and site
- Manage programmes, resource, materials and site delivery from start to finish
- Liaise with key stakeholders including public authority / framework contacts
The Person:
- Project Management experience within civils / highways / infrastructure (or similar)
- Confident managing site teams and taking ownership of live sites
- CSCS / SSSTS (or equivalent)
