We are working with a leading national contractor operating within the property services market to recruit a Senior Contract Manager to join their highly successful team based in Ealing.
The Senior Contract Manager will oversee teams delivering planned maintenance programs including externals works, EWI, Retrofit, roofing works for housing associations, ALMOs, and local councils. You must have delivered these types of projects for a leading social housing refurbishment contractor and be able to use MS Project to be considered.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven Senior Contracts Manager with a determined and motivated attitude. You will be instrumental in managing the contracts and leading a team of Project Managers, Site Manager's, Resident Liaison Officers, and subcontractors.
Senior Contracts Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple social housing construction and refurbishment projects
- Lead and support Site Managers, delivery teams and subcontractors
- Monitor programmes, resources, budgets, risks and project performance
- Ensure compliance with JCT contracts, specifications and client requirements
- Maintain high standards of health & safety, including CDM, RAMS and Construction Phase Plans
- Carry out regular site visits and progress meetings
- Oversee quality, compliance and environmental standards across projects
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders
- Provide accurate project, programme and performance reporting
- Identify risks and delays and implement effective mitigation plans
- Support the recruitment and development of Site Managers and operational teams
- Drive continuous improvement and excellent customer satisfaction
Senior Contracts Manager Experience:
- Extensive social housing construction or refurbishment experience
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and contract administration
- Proven experience managing Site Managers, subcontractors and multiple projects
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of project costs
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and CDM regulations
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills
- Strong programme, risk and resource management capabilities
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Project
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
