A well-established construction consultancy in London is looking for an ambitious Project Manager to join their growing team. The Project Manager will work across a varied portfolio including higher education, science and research facilities, data centres, heritage schemes and private healthcare projects. This is a strong opportunity for a Project Manager with 3-5 years' experience who wants exposure to complex projects and greater responsibility.

The successful Project Manager will join an experienced team consisting of Partners, Project Directors, Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers. The Project Manager will both assist on larger schemes and take the lead on selected projects, giving the Project Manager a good balance of support and autonomy. For a career-focused Project Manager, the consultancy can also provide APC and chartership support.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.



The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will be involved in projects from early feasibility and design stages through to construction and completion.

Responsibilities will include coordinating project teams, managing programmes, attending client and site meetings, preparing reports, monitoring risk and progress, and helping ensure projects are delivered to the required quality, cost and programme.

There will also be opportunities for the Project Manager to lead projects independently, work directly with clients and take greater ownership of project delivery.



The Project Manager

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years' Project Management experience within a construction consultancy

  • A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or another relevant construction discipline

  • Experience across higher education, science, data centres, healthcare, heritage or similar property sectors

  • Strong client-facing and communication skills

  • Good understanding of the full project lifecycle

  • A proactive approach to career development

  • MRICS, MAPM or progress towards a recognised professional qualification would be advantageous
