Bennett & Game are representing a privately owned quantity surveying and project management consultancy who are seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to join their growing team.

The business delivers project management, quantity surveying and wider construction consultancy services across a varied portfolio throughout the UK. Assistant Construction Project Manager Position Overview

Support the delivery of construction projects from inception through to completion

Assist with the coordination of clients, contractors, consultants and wider project teams

Support the preparation and management of project programmes, reports and project documentation

Attend project meetings, assist with recording actions and develop confidence in leading meetings as experience grows

Assist with feasibility studies, site surveys, investigations and other project assessments

Monitor contractor progress and provide updates to the wider project team

Develop experience in Contract Administration and Employer's Agent duties under JCT contracts

Work alongside experienced team members to develop into a Project Manager capable of taking ownership of projects

Assistant Construction Project Manager Position Requirements

Degree in Construction, Project Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline would be advantageous but is not essential

Open to graduate and early-career candidates with a genuine interest in construction project management

Previous experience within construction, consultancy or contracting would be advantageous

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Good communication skills and confidence dealing with clients, contractors and consultants

Commercial awareness and an interest in developing wider Quantity Surveying knowledge

Proficient in Microsoft Office, with Microsoft Project experience advantageous

Ambitious, proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and develop

Personable and professional approach with the ability to work effectively within a small team
