We are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Negotiator to join a well-established and successful estate agency in Exeter. This is a full-time position offering excellent career prospects within a supportive and professional team environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service, supporting buyers and sellers throughout their property journey, and contributing to the continued success of one of the area's leading independent estate agencies. This role is ideal for a motivated property professional who enjoys building relationships, negotiating sales, and achieving results in a fast-paced environment.

Basic salary of £26,000 with realistic On Target Earnings of £30,000 - £35,000.

About the Role

As a Sales Negotiator, you will be at the heart of the sales process, building strong relationships with buyers and vendors, matching prospective purchasers to suitable properties, conducting viewings, negotiating offers, and progressing agreed sales through to completion. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service at every stage of the transaction whilst helping to drive business performance and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and sellers, providing professional advice and regular updates.
• Arrange and conduct property viewings.
• Match buyers to suitable properties and proactively generate interest.
• Handle offers and negotiations to achieve the best possible outcome for all parties.
• Progress sales through to completion, liaising with solicitors, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process.
• Maintain accurate records, sales notes, and CRM updates.
• Work towards agreed targets and KPIs within a driven and supportive environment.
• Keep up to date with local market trends and competitor activity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health & safety standards.

Required

• Previous experience within estate agency sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and rapport-building skills.
• A proactive, organised, and target-driven approach.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.

Preferred

• Knowledge of the Exeter and wider Devon property market.
• Experience working within a target-driven sales environment.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales progression processes.

Package

In return, our client is offering a basic salary of £26,000 with realistic On Target Earnings of £30,000 - £35,000, together with company pension benefits, mileage allowance, and excellent long-term career progression opportunities.
