Quantity Surveyor - Refurbishment
South East London Up to 75,000 + Package Main Contractor
An opportunity has come up with a long-established South East London main contractor specialising in refurbishment and construction within existing buildings.
Operating for over 85 years, the business delivers a varied portfolio of refurbishment, maintenance and fit-out projects across London and the South East, working across residential, education, commercial, heritage and public-sector schemes.
They are now looking for a well-rounded Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
This isn't a role where you'll be pigeonholed into one part of the commercial process. You'll get involved across both pre and post-contract, including:
Tendering, measurement and pricing
Subcontractor procurement
Valuations and variations
CVRs, forecasting and cost control
Subcontract accounts
Final accounts
The business has a flat structure, giving you direct exposure to Contracts Managers and Directors, with plenty of autonomy and responsibility.
Ideally, you'll have experience working for a main contractor within refurbishment, maintenance or construction within existing buildings. Experience with JCT contracts, Schedule of Rates/NHF and measured works would be particularly useful.
Salary: Up to 75,000 + package
Location: South East London
Working: Predominantly office-based with site visits across London
