Job Description
I m currently recruiting on behalf of my client, a regional tier1 main contractor specialising in major projects across the high rise residential and dfe sector a Design Manager in the Derby area.
As Design Manager on this project, your responsibilities will include:
- Attending and contributing to design meetings
- Reviewing designs
- Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process
- Liaising with clients, architects and external consultants
- Managing site audits and creating proactive risk assessments
- Ensuring sub-contractor compliance with client specifications
- Ensuring project completion in line with programme
- Value engineering/ resolving technical and design issues
Required: Travel 2 times a week to Sufflok area.
Salary: £65K +package.
Start date: Asap
