Project Manager - Hospital Civils Package
Birmingham Outside IR per day Initial 3-Month Contract
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the civils package on a major hospital construction project in Birmingham.
Working on-site Monday to Friday, you will take responsibility for managing all aspects of the civil works package, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery throughout the project lifecycle. This is an initial 3-month contract with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all civils activities including groundworks, RC frames, and piling
- Oversee subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently
- Monitor programme progress and ensure project milestones are achieved
- Manage quality, health & safety, and compliance requirements
- Resolve technical and operational site issues as they arise
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to maintain effective communication
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager on construction projects
- Strong background delivering groundworks, reinforced concrete (RC) frames, and piling packages
- Previous hospital or healthcare construction experience is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced site environment
Contract Details
- Location: Birmingham
- Duration: Initial 3 months (extension potential)
- Start Date: Early November
- Rate: Approximately 350 per day
- IR35 Status: Outside IR35
- Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, site-based
