Senior Quantity Surveyor

Hybrid 3 days in office, 2 from home

Grays, Essex

Our client, a leading Tier 1 contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a major package on the Lower Thames Crossing.

• Manage commercial delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure work packages.

• Prepare CVRs, forecasts, cost reports, applications for payment and cash flow.

• Administer NEC contracts, including early warnings, compensation events, notices and change control.

• Manage subcontract procurement, valuations, variations, payments and final accounts.

• Provide commercial support to operational and project-delivery teams.

• Identify commercial risk, opportunity and cost-recovery actions.

• Senior QS experience on major highways, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

• Strong NEC3/NEC4 and subcontract-management experience.

• Proven CVR, forecasting, change-control and final-account capability.

• CEMAR or similar NEC contract-management system experience desirable.

• Degree qualified or equivalent relevant commercial experience.

• Location: Lower Thames Crossing project

• Rate: 550/day Umbrella

• Contract: Initial 3 months, long-term extension likely

• Start: ASAP
