Temp Site Manager - Wakefield
We are currently supporting one of our Facilities Management clients in their search for a Site Manager for project works in and around Wakefield, this is a mobile role which will involve travel.
Location: Wakefield district
Start date: 5th October
Day rate: 245 per day
Hours: 6am to 2pm
Duration: Eight weeks initially, followed by a four-week break and a further four weeks of work
The client is looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee and manage high-level works on a Christmas lights project across the Wakefield district.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing works on site, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards. You will coordinate the workforce, monitor progress and maintain high standards of health and safety throughout the project.
Working Pattern
The final shift pattern is still being confirmed and is likely to be one of the following:
- Weekdays, working 6am to 2pm
- Four days on, four days off, working 6am to 2pm
The project will initially run for eight weeks, followed by a four-week break in December. The successful candidate will ideally return for a further four weeks after the break to complete the project.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Site Manager
- Experience managing high-level works
- Strong health and safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate site teams and manage work schedules
- Relevant site management qualifications and tickets
