Electrical Building Services Manager

The Opportunity A leading UK construction and development business is seeking an experienced Electrical Building Services Manager to join a major, long-term development in the South West.
This is an opportunity to work on a significant, technically challenging scheme, overseeing the delivery of electrical building services from installation through to commissioning and handover. The successful candidate will join a well-established team with a strong pipeline of future work and excellent opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of electrical building services packages on site.
• Oversee electrical subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
• Monitor installation progress and coordinate interfaces with other trades and disciplines.
• Drive QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Work closely with design, commercial and operational teams to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Building Services Manager, Electrical Project Manager, MEP Manager or Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Strong technical understanding of electrical building services installations.
• Experience delivering large-scale commercial, residential, mixed-use, healthcare, life sciences, infrastructure or data centre projects.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractor packages.
• Relevant Electrical Engineering or Building Services qualifications preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
