Our Client:
Our client is an established commercial fit out contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality CAT A and CAT B office projects across London. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to appoint an experienced Technical Services Manager to join their team on a major City of London project with a value of 30M.
The role:
As Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for the technical delivery of MEP services across a major CAT A and CAT B commercial office fit out. After this project, you would likely have a mix of either working on one large job or alternatively managing multiple fast track fit out commercial projects simultaneously that range from 1M- 10M.
You will oversee the project from design coordination through to installation, commissioning, testing and handover, working closely with the Project Manager, site team, consultants, specialist subcontractors and suppliers.
Responsibilities will include coordinating mechanical, electrical and public health services, managing design development, reviewing technical submissions, drawings and specifications, attending design and coordination meetings, managing RFIs and technical queries, and ensuring installations meet programme, quality and specification requirements.
You will also oversee testing, commissioning and handover, ensuring all O&M manuals, as-built information and technical documentation are completed to the required standard.
The ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Technical Services Manager within commercial office fit out, with a strong track record delivering CAT A and CAT B projects with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 fit out business.
You will have a strong technical understanding of MEP services and experience managing specialist subcontractors within a main contractor or fit out environment.
