Gas Engineer

Location: Oldbury
Salary: Up to £37,000 depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are recruiting on behalf of an established property services contractor for a skilled and customer-focused Gas Engineer to join their team in Oldbury. The role involves carrying out servicing, breakdowns and repairs across housing maintenance programmes, including working within occupied homes and void properties.

• Respond to emergency and reactive gas repairs, diagnosing and resolving faults

• Maintain a high first-time fix rate while meeting quality and safety standards

• Complete gas safety checks and compliance inspections

• Support void property works, ensuring gas systems are safe and ready for re-let

• Carry out remedial works and system upgrades where required

• Complete PDA/job documentation accurately and on time

• Proven experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer within repairs, maintenance or voids

• CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 qualifications

• G3 and LPG/Oil/ASHP qualifications are desirable

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Able to work independently and manage your own workload

• Confident using handheld devices/PDA systems

• Full, clean UK Driving Licence minor motoring convictions accepted

• Salary up to £37,000 depending on experience
