Mechanical Building Services Manager

We are representing a leading UK construction and development business with a substantial pipeline of major work across the South West. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Building Services Manager to join a flagship mixed-use development and play a key role in the successful delivery of its mechanical services packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of mechanical building services from installation through to commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate mechanical subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and design information.
• Monitor progress against programme and proactively resolve technical challenges.
• Lead QA/QC inspections and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning and client handover activities.
• Work closely with construction, commercial and design teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental standards are maintained at all times.

About You

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Building Services Manager, Mechanical Project Manager, MEP Manager or Senior Mechanical Engineer within the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installation, commissioning and handover.
• Experience delivering large-scale commercial, residential, mixed-use, healthcare, infrastructure or data centre projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant Building Services or Mechanical Engineering qualifications would be advantageous.
