Are you an experienced Electrician with strong troubleshooting and fault-finding experience and wants to work in Solar?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an Electrician to join a professional and growing Renewables company. This is a hybrid role suited to a reliable, experienced electrician who is confident working independently and has strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical works, testing, fault diagnosis and repairs, maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Relevant electrical qualification / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification or equivalent
• Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting and fault finding
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Strong understanding of electrical testing, diagnosis and repair

Desirable:

• Gold JIB Card
• Additional electrical testing and inspection qualifications
• Experience working across commercial or industrial environments

Roles & Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, testing and maintenance works
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely
• Undertake electrical testing and inspection in line with relevant standards
• Investigate complex electrical issues and identify the root cause of faults
• Complete repairs and remedial works where required
• Work independently while also supporting colleagues and the wider team
• Liaise professionally with customers, colleagues and management
• Maintain accurate records and complete all required paperwork
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with company procedures
• Maintain excellent timekeeping and communicate effectively regarding schedules and workloads
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety requirements
• Undertake any other electrical or ad-hoc duties as directed by the company

Requirements

As an Electrician, you will be expected to:

• Demonstrate strong practical electrical knowledge and troubleshooting ability
• Be confident diagnosing electrical faults and finding effective solutions
• Always Work safely and professionally
• Complete required paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Be reliable, flexible and able to work independently
• Hold a full, clean UK driving licence
• Be available to start at the end of October
