Project Manager

Up to £90,000 + Excellent Package Main Contractor Immediate Start Available

An established and highly regarded main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a £15m new build Community Hub development in Ebbsfleet.

This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on a high-profile scheme that will play a key role in the ongoing regeneration and growth of the local area. The project comprises a complex RC frame construction and requires a strong Project Manager capable of driving programme, quality and safety from inception through to completion.

Reporting into an experienced Contracts Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management and successful delivery of the project.

As Project Manager, you will oversee all operational aspects of the development, leading the site team and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

• Managing the overall delivery of a £15m new build Community Hub project
• Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager
• Leading and coordinating Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors
• Developing and maintaining the construction programme
• Managing client and stakeholder relationships throughout the build
• Chairing site meetings and reporting on project progress
• Coordinating design, commercial and operational functions
• Driving health and safety performance across the project
• Ensuring quality standards are achieved and maintained
• Identifying and mitigating project risks
• Managing subcontractor performance and site logistics
• Leading the project through to successful completion and handover

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a recognised main contractor
• Track record of delivering projects valued between £10m and £30m
• Strong experience managing RC frame construction projects
• Background in new build commercial, mixed-use, education, community or public sector developments
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management abilities
• Sound commercial awareness and programme management expertise
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
• Construction-related qualification preferred (HNC, HND or Degree)
