Mechanical Supervisor
Permanent
Location: Halifax
Salary: Up to 43,000 Basic + AP Allowance + Standby Payments + Overtime
Sellick Partnership is recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor to join the Estates team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer looking to step into leadership or further develop their supervisory experience within a large, evolving hospital environment. Duties of the Mechanical Supervisor include:
- Supervising and supporting a team of mechanical engineers
- Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Providing technical support across HVAC, plumbing, pipefitting and mechanical systems
- Ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely and compliantly
- Managing maintenance records and compliance documentation
- Supporting plant inspections, servicing and repairs
- Undertaking AP duties or completing AP training
- Participating in the on-call rota and supporting the wider estates team
The Mechanical Supervisor will have:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a Mechanical discipline
- Background in Plumbing, HVAC, Air Conditioning, Pipefitting or Building Services
- Previous experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, Senior Engineer or Lead Engineer
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Good IT skills, including Outlook and Microsoft Teams
- AP experience desirable but not essential
