Project Manager

Bridgeman Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to oversee social housing, retrofit and renewable energy projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring programmes are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from inception through to practical completion
• Oversee social housing, retrofit and renewable energy programmes
• Manage Site Managers, Supervisors, subcontractors and trades
• Coordinate heating, plumbing, electrical and renewable works
• Develop and monitor project programmes and targets
• Manage budgets, costs and commercial performance
• Liaise with clients, residents, consultants and supply-chain partners
• Monitor health & safety and ensure compliance with company procedures
• Manage quality control and ensure works meet specification
• Identify and resolve project issues and risks
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular project reports
• Monitor subcontractor performance and productivity
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timescales
• Manage handovers, defects and completion documentation

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction, property services or social housing
• Experience managing multiple projects and teams
• Strong understanding of planned maintenance, refurbishment or retrofit works
• Renewable energy experience, particularly ASHP, heating or decarbonisation, would be advantageous
• Strong commercial and programme-management skills
• Excellent communication and client-management skills
• Relevant construction qualification such as SMSTS, NVQ, HNC/HND or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence
• CSCS card preferred
