Freelance Cladding Manager Required - Immediate Start - Cardiff
We are currently seeking an experienced Cladding Manager for an immediate start on a major project in Cardiff. This is a freelance opportunity for approximately 15 weeks, overseeing the successful delivery of cladding and fa ade works through to completion.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing external envelope packages, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, and in accordance with the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all on-site cladding and fa ade installation activities.
Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers.
Monitor progress against programme and report on key milestones.
Ensure works are delivered in accordance with specifications, drawings, and current regulations.
Carry out quality inspections and manage snagging activities.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Liaise with the Project Manager, design teams, and client representatives.
Ensure accurate site records and reporting are maintained.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cladding Manager or Fa ade Manager on construction projects.
Strong knowledge of rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, and external envelope systems.
Excellent understanding of quality assurance and compliance requirements.
SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid certification essential.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme performance.
