Roller Shutter Doors - Package Manager

A leading Tier 1 construction team is seeking an experienced Roller Shutter Doors Package Manager to take ownership of a specialist package on a major new indoor entertainment venue in Cardiff.

The development will deliver a 16,500-capacity venue within a major waterfront regeneration scheme, creating one of the city's most significant new destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the roller shutter door subcontractor through to completion
Coordinate technical design, specifications, drawings and approvals
Manage programme, procurement and delivery
Coordinate interfaces with architectural, structural, MEP and fire packages
Monitor subcontractor progress and performance
Manage inspections, testing, commissioning and snagging
Support commercial management, variations and change control
Coordinate with Design, Commercial, Construction and Project Management teams
Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety and programme requirements

About You:

Experience managing roller shutter, specialist door or architectural door packages
Previous Tier 1/main contractor experience is essential
Experience on major commercial, industrial, retail, leisure, transport or infrastructure projects
Strong technical coordination and subcontractor management skills
Good programme and construction interface knowledge
Strong commercial awareness
CSCS and SMSTS, or equivalent

Experience with fire-rated, security-rated or electrically operated shutter and door systems would be advantageous.

Specialist subcontractor-only backgrounds will not be considered.
