Salary: Up to £31,000 per annum, depending on experience

Bricklayer Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Bricklayer to join a well-established property maintenance and repairs team working across Merseyside. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship within occupied and void residential properties.

The successful candidate will carry out a variety of brickwork repairs and building maintenance tasks, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out bricklaying works including repairs to walls, structures, and brickwork features.
  • Work from drawings, specifications, and job instructions to complete works to the required standard.
  • Prepare and apply mortar, ensuring correct alignment and positioning of materials.
  • Cut and shape bricks and blocks using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Undertake repairs to brickwork, blockwork, and other related structures.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and compliant working areas at all times.
  • Accurately complete job records and documentation using PDA or digital systems.
  • Work collaboratively with other trades and operatives.
  • Deliver a high standard of workmanship with a strong focus on first-time fixes.
  • Provide a professional and customer-focused service while working within occupied homes.

About You

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a Bricklayer within repairs and maintenance, construction, or housing environments.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and best practices.
  • Experience within social housing or property maintenance environments (desirable).
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
