Your new role
As Site Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of a prestigious 90m secure government project in Renfrew. Working alongside the Senior Site Manager and Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a section of works, ensuring activities are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day site operations within your designated work area
  • Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works progress to programme
  • Maintaining excellent health & safety standards on site
  • Monitoring quality and ensuring compliance with project specifications
  • Conducting site inspections and toolbox talks
  • Assisting with short-term planning and programme management
  • Building strong relationships with the client team and key stakeholders
  • Supporting project delivery through to successful completion


What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor
  • Proven track record delivering new-build construction projects
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and site management procedures
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trade packages
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
  • Security clearance eligibility would be advantageous due to the nature of the project
