An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Manager to join a respected and growing independent estate agency in South Bucks. This role offers the chance to manage a portfolio of residential properties while delivering exceptional service to landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy lifecycle.

The Role

As Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, providing a proactive and professional service to both landlords and tenants while ensuring properties remain compliant and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing residential properties from tenancy commencement through to the end of the tenancy
  • Acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants
  • Coordinating repairs and maintenance works with contractors and suppliers
  • Arranging and conducting property inspections
  • Reviewing check-in and check-out reports and following up on any actions required
  • Monitoring and maintaining compliance requirements, including Gas Safety Certificates, EICRs and EPCs
  • Keeping landlords informed of property-related matters and maintenance recommendations
  • Handling tenant enquiries, complaints and tenancy issues professionally and efficiently
  • Processing property-related administration and maintaining accurate records
  • Managing contractor performance and ensuring works are completed to a high standard

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience in residential property management or residential lettings (ideally at least two years)
  • Strong understanding of the UK lettings process
  • Knowledge of landlord and tenant responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
  • Good IT skills and experience with property management systems
  • Professional, proactive and solution-focused approach

Desirable

  • ARLA Propertymark qualification (or working towards)
  • Experience using Reapit or a similar property management CRM
  • Knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements
  • Experience handling tenancy disputes, complaints and rent arrears

Competitive basic salary of £28,000 - £30,000

£150 per month car allowance

Monday to Friday working hours with no weekends
