Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Job Title: Residential Property Manager

Hours: Two days 8.30 - 5.15 with 45 minutes for lunch

Two days 9 - 6 with one hour for lunch

Fridays alternate early and late hours

Reports To: Head of Property Management

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Residential Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of a residential property portfolio. The successful candidate will ensure all properties are well-maintained, compliant with current legislation, and that residents receive a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities of the Property Manager

  • Manage a portfolio of residential properties (leasehold and/or ASTs), ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, landlords and contractors.
  • Arrange and oversee property maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments, ensuring works are completed to a high standard.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and prepare detailed reports. One day per week out of the office conducting these
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation
  • Handle tenant move-outs & deposit returns
  • Contribute to the development of property management processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience of a Property Manager

  • Proven experience in residential property management
  • Strong understanding of UK housing legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Full UK driving licence and a car
