Fabric/ Handyperson

Are you an experienced Handyperson or Fabric Engineer looking for an immediate-start opportunity? A leading Facilities Management organisation is seeking a multi-skilled individual to support general building maintenance within a secure, operational environment, with potential for the role to become permanent.

The Role As the Handyperson / Fabric Engineer, you ll:

• Carry out planned and reactive building fabric maintenance.
• Complete general repairs and handyperson tasks across the site.
• Undertake basic joinery and building maintenance where required.
• Support a variety of maintenance tasks outside of your core trade.
• Work alongside electrical, mechanical and other FM trades.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance.

You To be successful, you ll bring:

• Previous handyperson, fabric maintenance or general building maintenance experience.
• A broad, multi-skilled approach rather than specialising solely in one trade.
• Joinery experience would be advantageous but isn't essential.
• Experience working within commercial or FM environments.
• Flexibility to support different maintenance requirements across the site.
• A current DBS would be advantageous.

Due to the secure nature of the environment, candidates will need to complete the required background and security checks, including providing a five-year employment history.
