Job Description

This is an ideal opportunity for a Site Manager with strong commercial fit-out experience who is comfortable working within fast-paced project environments and coordinating multiple trades. This Site Manager role offers the chance to work on a high-profile scheme from start of September, managing key areas of the project and helping drive delivery through to completion.

This scheme is a 28 -week programme worth 5.5m.

About the Role of Site Manager

As Site Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a commercial fit-out project in Berkshire. Working as No1 on site, you will be reporting back to a visiting Project Manager you will be responsible for managing subcontractors, maintaining programme targets, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the build.

Responsibilities for Site Manager

  • Managing day-to-day site operations and subcontractor activities
  • Ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to specification

  • Monitoring programme progress and reporting updates to senior management

  • Coordinating and managing multiple trades across different work areas
  • Conducting quality inspections and snagging reviews
  • Reviewing RAMS and maintaining Health & Safety compliance on site
  • Attending progress meetings and liaising with clients and consultants
  • Managing materials, logistics, and workforce requirements

    Requirements for Site Manager
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects

  • Strong knowledge of CAT A and CAT B fit-out delivery
  • SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid qualification required
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain programme targets
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and Health & Safety procedures
