Design Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Design Coordinator to join the project team on a major construction project

Working alongside the Design Manager, you will support the coordination and delivery of design information across multiple disciplines, working closely with consultants, subcontractors, BIM teams and site teams.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with solid construction experience who is looking to broaden their design management experience and progress towards a Design Manager position.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the management of design deliverables and programmes.
• Coordinating consultant, subcontractor and supplier design information.
• Maintaining design trackers, action registers and technical submission schedules.
• Working with site and design teams to resolve technical and design issues.
• Monitoring design deliverables against the construction programme.
• Managing RFIs, technical queries, design comments and change requests.
• Supporting multidisciplinary coordination across CSA, MEP and specialist packages.
• Supporting BIM coordination and clash resolution.
• Managing project information through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Common Data Environments.
• Supporting technical submittal and approval processes.
• Attending design coordination meetings and managing resulting actions.
• Maintaining accurate design documentation and revision control.
• Preparing design progress reports and identifying potential risks or delays.
• Supporting as-built information, commissioning and project handover.
