A highly regarded construction consultancy in London is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong commercial property background to join their growing team. The successful Senior Project Manager will take a leading role on high-quality commercial projects across the capital, with the opportunity to gain exposure to residential schemes as well if this is of interest. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager looking to join a respected consultancy with a strong project pipeline and varied workload.

The Senior Project Manager will work closely with major clients, consultants and contractors, taking responsibility for projects from early feasibility through to completion. This role would suit a confident Senior Project Manager with strong commercial experience who enjoys leading teams, managing client relationships and delivering complex schemes. The successful Senior Project Manager will also have the opportunity to broaden their sector experience through selected residential projects.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.



The Senior Project Manager's role

The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of commercial projects across multiple RIBA stages, managing programme, risk, procurement, cost and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities will include chairing project meetings, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, monitoring design development, overseeing procurement and contract strategy, managing change and reporting directly to clients.

The Senior Project Manager will also support junior members of the team and contribute to client development, while maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.



The Senior Project Manager

The successful Senior Project Manager will ideally have:

  • Significant Project Management experience within a UK construction consultancy
  • Strong commercial office, refurbishment, fit-out or development experience
  • A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
  • MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB qualification, or progress towards a relevant professional qualification
  • Experience delivering projects through multiple RIBA stages
  • Good knowledge of procurement routes and construction contracts
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary consultant teams
  • An interest in residential project exposure would be advantageous but is not essential
